Laboratory activity profile:
Semiconductor materials technology, including oxidative: nanostructured binary oxide films (ZnO, NiO), ternary oxides (ZnMgO, InSnO), quaternary (InSnGaO), lamellar binary compounds (SnS, SnS2, SnSe, SnSe2, GaS).
Experimental study of optical, radiative, photoelectric properties of nanostructured materials.
Development of optoelectronic and photoelectric devices based on the obtained nanostructures. Development of sensors based on aerogels, aerographite, with high-performance used in combination with nanotubes or carbon nanoparticles.
Research objectives:
Oxidic nanostructured materials (ZnO, ZnMgO, InSnGaO).
Singlcrystals of lamellar binary compounds (SnS, SnS2, SnSe, SnSe2, GaS).
Aerogel, aerographite/semiconductor composites (CdTe, GaAs,GaN).
Photoelectric devices for the UV field of the spectrum.
Facilities, methods developed and used in the laboratory:
Technology for obtaining nanostructured materials by RF and DC magnetron deposition.
The technology of obtaining laminated semiconductor singlcrystals.
Aerogel, aerographite/semiconductor composite technology.
Morphological, compositional, optical and radiative characterization of materials and structures obtained in the temperature range 4.2–300 K in collaboration with UTM.
Technology for the manufacture of photoelectric devices based on multilayer structures based on oxide materials.
