Fields of Laboratory activites:

  • Nanostructured materials, new composites for electronics, spintronics, optoelectronics, and photonics, and their functionalization in terms of luminescence and other attributions for applications in medicine, biology, and ecology;

  • Physics and technology of oxide materials (such as manganite): engineering of nanostructured thermochromic materials in combination with stress engineering used in glass thermochromic coatings to improve light transmission and infrared solar spectrum modulation: improvement of a technology based on spinodal decomposition in a VO2 binary system, structural characterization, analysis of solid solutions and phase-separated films, exploration of the compatibility of the proposed approach with the most commonly used types of glass, study of the metal–insulator transition mechanism in overlays, and optimization of parameters of nanostructured thermochromic films;

  • Multifunctional nanostructures: nanozymes based on ferromagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles exhibiting high peroxidase, catalase, and oxidase activity, which are intended for the detoxification of soil and water;

  • Pyrotechnic compositions used for active impacts on atmospheric processes aimed at suppressing hailstorms and stimulating artificial precipitation.
