The overall objective of the joint Action:
To improve the ability of the Black Sea Basin national and coastal authorities to respond timely and effectively to water pollution and strengthen the joint knowledge and information base needed among partners, target groups and final beneficiaries on addressing the common challenges of water pollution in BS Basin marine and river environment.
Target groups:
The Black Sea Basin national and EU bodies coordinating mechanisms against environmental pollution. National, regional, municipal and communal decision structures in the eligible area of the BS Programme. Port authorities, oil refineries, state and private companies specialized in oil extraction and transportation. Public and business structures of the coastal areas, medical institutions. Academic and research structures have to give precise and useful instruments for correct and sustainable political decisions.
Final beneficiaries:
Urban and rural population of partner countries and beyond. Emergency situations institutions. Natural protected areas and reservations administrations. Public and business structures specialized in water treatment, sustainable tourism and recreation, fishery and fish farming, ecological agriculture, water treatment and conditioning, oil spill response, ecological agencies.
